UN Women is the United Nations entity dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women. In JOVMUN 2020 we'll talk about:

-The role of women in governments at the international level: Over time, women have been victims of discrimination. This has been seen in political spheres by prohibiting them from participating in these matters, as well, they have been prohibited from voting and from participating in political campaigns. The objective of this committee is to promote the participation of women in politics by creating campaigns and strengthening the female voice.
